It supports unlimited colors, soft colour transitions, fine details and full canopy all over prints with photo realistic effects. It suits complicated designs and small batch orders well. Its single piece cost is higher for mass production.
In short, choose screen printing for simple less color logos in big quantities; pick digital printing for rich, detailed artwork. In this case, you can both save cost and get a nice design umbrella !
